THORChain exploited for $10M, crypto analyst claims

Crypto sleuth ZachXBT first spotted the “likely” $10M THORChain exploit and crypto security analysts later confirmed the incident.

DeFi projects lose $6M in fresh string of exploits this week

Tuesday saw four separate hacks, with over $5M stolen. Two more incidents took place the day before, but with minimal losses.

Arbitrum rescued $71 million held by the Kelp DAO hacker last month. Gerstein Harrow wants to claim the sum for its clients.

The suit, which calls the hack “sophisticated,” is suing Coinbase on numerous counts, including unjust enrichment, and is seeking restitution.

The ongoing crypto hack epidemic has seen 30 hacks so far in April, with 12 in the last week alone totaling $11M in losses.
