FBI helps smash crypto scam targeting Russian speakers in Brooklyn

The FBI worked with Brooklyn’s Virtual Currency Unit to take down hundreds of servers and domains that aided the crypto scam network.

Crypto hacking group ShinyHunters says it stole data of 5,000 FBI agents

ShinyHunters claims the theft was in retaliation for the FBI’s May 2026 report that detailed activities and methods employed by the group.
