MEV bot JaredFromSubway.eth loses $7.5M to approvals honeypot

After years of terrorizing DeFi users, ruthless sandwicher JaredFromSubway.eth has been caught in a rival’s on-chain trap.

JaredFromSubway.eth sandwich attacked Vitalik Buterin

Vitalik Buterin carelessly routed an order accepting any slippage to Uniswap and suffered a sandwich attack by JaredFromSubway.eth.

The April 2023 exploit allowed the brothers’ validator to drain “predatory” MEV bots who attempt to profit off transactions of regular users.
