Binance had to offboard the Tron Foundation following the SEC lawsuit that alleged market manipulation and wash trading.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has been sentenced to four months in prison following his guilty plea for violations of the Bank Secrecy Act.

Estimates for the prison sentence that Binance founder Changpeng Zhao will receive today range from no time at all to 36 months behind bars.

The lawsuit claims Binance sold crypto-derivatives to thousands of retail traders but didn’t register with the Ontario Securities Commission.
