Yuga Labs directs royalties to bankrupt FTX US

Yuga Labs has apparently been directing royalty payments from its NFT collections to a deposit address associated with bankrupt FTX US.

Sam Bankman-Fried is sentenced to 25 years — but now what?

There’s little legal wiggle room for Bankman-Fried and while he may present specific arguments, the odds of them succeeding are pretty low.

The FTX-linked charity Effective Ventures, which previously returned $26.8 million in donations to FTX, will reportedly shut down by 2025.

Bankman-Fried’s sentence comes after he was found guilty of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, and money laundering conspiracy.

Prosecutors have asked for a sentence of 40 to 50 years but attorneys working for Bankman-Fried have called such a timespan excessive.
