Polymarket currently has open assassination markets on its website and they’re some of the most heavily traded markets on the platform.

Kalshi apparently allowed traders to bet on Ali Khamenei’s ousting, racked up $54M in trades, then voided the result when he was killed.

According to a report from Paradigm several important data providers were inadvertently over-counting Polymarket volume.
