Probe finds Effective Ventures charity acted ‘diligently’ after FTX collapse

A government inquiry concluded that the FTX-backed charity acted ‘quickly’ and ‘diligently’ after excluding FTX-linked trustees.

FTX-funded charity Effective Ventures to shut down in the UK

The FTX-linked charity Effective Ventures, which previously returned $26.8 million in donations to FTX, will reportedly shut down by 2025.

Effective Ventures, an effective altruism-focused charity, has agreed to return donations it received from FTX.

The Charity Commission is probing Effective Ventures Foundation, which received money from Future Fund, the charitable arm of FTX.
