Bitcoiners seek to bypass Luke Dashjr for OP_CAT soft fork

Bitcoin’s code review process is under scrutiny after Bitcoin Core contributor Bryan Bishop volunteered to replace Luke Dashjr.

Bitcoin Core developer and miner Luke Dashjr is also the sole administrator of the Bitcoin Improvement Proposal upgrade process.

The proposal would allow covenanted wallets, meaning some coins could only be spent if they meet certain predetermined conditions.
