Crypto markets ready for $1T milestone

The crypto market is edging closer to a historic $1 trillion valuation, having surged 20% already this year.

At press time, the total sum of all digital assets exceeds $945 billion. For scale, gold’s market value is $10 trillion.

Still, digital assets are worth 25% more than crypto’s last peak in early 2018 — and 360% more than one year ago.

Bitcoin makes up most of the market, dominating nearly 70% of crypto’s overall value.

In fact, BTC dominance is at its highest point since July 2017. Ethereum is next, boasting around 14%.
