Bitcoin sets 8 price records in 14 days

Bitcoin broke $28,500 on Wednesday, marking the cryptocurrency’s eighth price record in two weeks.
BTC eclipsed its last all-time high on December 16, around three years after it hit $20,000 for the first time.
BTC has persistently traded beyond that mark since, and now sits 40% above its 2017 price record.
