A report from the Multilateral Sanctions Monitoring Team claimed that North Korea stole at least $2.8B in crypto hacks since 2024.

Lazarus hackers have become excellent ETH traders

North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group is up over $40M on the proceeds from last year’s Radiant Capital hack, and is trading ETH like a pro.

In just over 18 months, North Korean hackers like Lazarus have used the same “hijacked multisig” technique to steal over $1.75B in crypto.

Crypto sleuth ZachXBT revealed North Korean hackers likely stole $5.2M in crypto by infecting the victim with malware.

While some would like to see Lazarus Group’s ill-gotten gains go down the drain, others see the activity on HyperLiquid as a worrying sign.
