Rick and Morty creator to auction crypto art for Ethereum

Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland will auction new original artwork for cryptocurrency via Nifty Gateway next week.

The crypto-collectable marketplace teased one of Roiland’s crypto artworks on Twitter early Thursday, and noted the full collection will be auctioned starting January 19.

Roiland’s first crypto artwork is… a little low effort.

Crypto-collectables — or Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) — have grown sharply in popularity of late, echoing the CryptoKitties bubble from a few years back.
