Bitcoin is now worth more than PayPal and Netflix

Bitcoin’s market cap hit $500 billion for the first time ever this weekend, valuing the blockchain beyond industry heavyweights PayPal and Netflix.
If Bitcoin were in the NASDAQ 100, it would be the index’s 8th biggest asset by market value, directly trailing Elon Musk’s Tesla and social media giant Facebook.
BTC’s price has almost quadrupled in 2020 — from under $7,200 to more than $28,200 at its peak — with most of those returns coming in the past three months.
