Renowned Bitcoin cheerleader Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano launched a blockchain and cryptocurrency jobs board this week — and reckons he can post at least 10,000 jobs by the end of the year.

PompCryptoJobs currently touts only 200 positions — and mostly in the US — but it did only go live on Wednesday.

So far, most openings are at marquee crypto brands Coinbase and BlockFi, but the Winklevoss twins’ Gemini exchange has more than a dozen.

There’s also openings at Bitwise and Anchorage.

Pompliano is a popular brand in his own right. He produces a podcast, hosts a YouTube channel, boasts nearly half a million Twitter followers, and sends a daily newsletter called ‘Pompletter

Indeed, Pompliano is one of crypto’s most vocal advocates, infamous for sharing bullish Bitcoin sentiment on CNBC.

The Morgan Creek Digital partner told Decrypt this week he intends to use his clout to fulfil what he sees as an obvious need in the market — connecting out-of-work Americans to companies seeking top crypto talent.

“The idea is to simplify the job search for people looking to transition into crypto, while also drastically reducing the friction for companies to find the best candidates possible.”
